inspiration-home-1This weekend, Saturday, August 25th and Sunday August 26th is the final weekend of the open house at the 2012 Inspiration Home here in Olympia Washington. We were pleased to be a part of this wonderful home that we designed and was built by Scott Homes for a terrific couple in southeast Olympia. Please see the website from Scott Homes.

The home is open for tours and to speak with us and the contractors from 10:00-4:00. It is located at 1402 13th Avenue SE, Olympia, Washington.

This home will cost less than $200 to heat for an entire year!! The Inspiration Home was created to raise awareness that everyone can own a distinctive and stunning home that is energy efficient, healthy, low maintenance, and, most importantly, affordable.

The team was great to work with!

Scott Homes builds only energy efficient homes.

Four of the most significant features that work together are:

  •     SIPS (Structural Insulated Panels). These have higher than code insulation values (R-40) which help reduce noise, thermal bridging, and works year-round to dramatically lower your energy costs..
  •     The home is heated with one DHP (Ductless Het Pump) heats and cools the living space significantly more efficiently than any other heating system on the market.
  •     HRV (Heat Recover Ventilator) that filters and exchanges the indoor air 24/7 while also recovering the heat from the air that is being exhausted…resulting in comfort and clean indoor air.
  •     The home is very Air Tight and has triple-pane windows dramatically decrease sound transmission and significantly increase energy efficiency.

Stop by if you can!!
